About Us
Fresh n’ Lean is a family company that 18-year-old Laureen Asseo founded in 2010 when her father was facing health problems from years of unhealthy eating. From its roots as a service run by a teenager out of a one-bedroom apartment, Fresh n’ Lean has expanded to become a national meal distributor that’s redefining fast food.
Thomas Asseo, Laureen’s brother, serves as co-CEO and CMO. He manages the company’s growth and handles corporate partnerships and branding efforts.
Fresh n’ Lean ships hundreds of thousands of meals each week and operates out of a state-of-the-art, USDA certified kitchen in a 55,000-square foot facility in Anaheim, CA.
Fresh n’ Lean food is always fresh, free range, grass-fed, made with local ingredients and in-season produce, nutrient-dense, sustainably sourced, gluten-free, GMO-free, hormone-free, antibiotic-free, free of fillers, preservative-free and has no pork products.
Fresh n’ Lean delivers customizable, ready-to-eat meals or handy a la carte items direct to your door -- whether it’s a home, office or other location. You can also find us at our On the Go store in Santa Monica, CA and in grocery stores all over Southern CA. We will be launching into grocery stores nationally -- be on the lookout!
