Paul Goodman is the Chief Medical Officer at Fresh N Lean, using his expertise in preventative care through balanced dieting to carefully curate each ready-to-eat meal plan. Dr. Paul is a proponent of better eating habits through the concept of “Food as Medicine.” His philosophy is that healthy eating coupled with nutritional intervention can prevent chronic disease and illness to maximize a person’s overall wellness. His primary focus includes the use of the Mediterranean Diet to treat metabolic diseases like diabetes, heart disease, and obesity.
Dr. Paul’s people-focused advocacy for affordable, tasty food is facilitated by working with healthcare delivery, healthcare policymakers, payers, regulators, patient groups, and investors to push for human-centered solutions in healthcare.
Dr. Paul is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist and surgeon. Before his work in preventative wellness through dietary changes, Paul was with the Washington Eye Institute as well as an Attending Surgeon with the Georgetown Ophthalmology Residency Program.
